We are pleased to announce the hiring of Scott Wiley as our Chief Operating Officer. Scott joined us on June 5 and works at our corporate office in Lafayette, Colorado. Our team is excited to have Scott join the company in leading the cannabis and coffee agricultural revolution. As Front Range Biosciences’ COO, he will manage daily operations to drive overall efficiency. In addition, Scott will direct the management team in regulating internal processes to align with the company mission.
Scott’s background spans the agricultural value chain. Most recently, he was CEO of Equinox Tree & Vine, a multi-state producer of fruits and nuts in the U.S. The company’s customer base included the world’s largest food retailers and food and beverage processors. While in this role, Scott was elected to Sunkist’s Board of Directors and served on the strategy and finance committee.
Prior to his role at Equinox Tree & Vine, Scott was President of the U.S. direct-to-farm division of DeLaval, the global leader for dairy processing equipment and technology headquartered in Sweden. Earlier in his career, Scott led global financial strategies as Managing Director for KPMG, where he advised blue chip clients in the agriculture and food sectors on M&A transactions exceeding $40 billion.
As for Scott’s educational background, he has a BA in Geography from the California State University at Hayward and currently chairs the Industry Advisory Board of Colorado State University’s Department of Soil and Crop Sciences.
Considering Scott’s diverse and extensive experience in the agricultural industry, he is the perfect fit for our farmer-focused vision in providing solutions for cannabis and coffee growers.
